Stop Food Waste Day 2024: The Waste Warrior Awards

Our exclusive Stop Food Waste Day event (Wednesday, April 24th) will showcase food waste experts, local waste warriors, small bites and cocktails, engaging conversations, and spectacular views! Held in New York City at the One Club (1 Wall Street, 39th Floor). Space is extremely limited and by invitation only. We convene to celebrate several food waste warriors and champions, recognizing them for the awareness and impact they have created for our community and beyond. Speakers include (in alphabetical order): Tom Colicchio, award winning chef, outspoken social justice advocate, multi-cookbook author, Emmy award winning judge and producer on Bravo’s Top Chef and owner of Crafted Hospitality. Sam Kass, a food entrepreneur, former White House Chef and Senior Policy Advisor for Nutrition. Amy Keister, Global Director of Sustainability, Compass Group Stephen Grimaldi, Executive Director, New York Common Pantry Dana Gunders, Executive Director, ReFed Danielle Nierenberg, Co-Founder and President, Food Tank Stephen Ritz, founder of Green Bronx Machine, has devoted his teaching career to improving health and academic results for children in the South Bronx. Christine Datz-Romero, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Lower East Side Ecology Center.
