Nights In White Satin, Never Reaching The End - Renya Parnes

The exhibition will focus on a series of large scale paintings shown for the first time on this occasion. The exhibition is a one night event from 8-11pm at Edge Space Gallery in SoHo. The address is 457 Broome Street Lower Level, New York, NY 10013. This will be Renya Parnes’s first solo exhibition. Working with with organic materials such as clay, charcoal, wax, ink, and oil paints to create lyrical works of abstraction as well as renderings of the female form. Her process is guided by resonance and the intuitive senses; tuning into the present moment. This exhibition will be a SILENT experience. Presented in darkness, surrounded by harrowing music and the hush of silence. The exhibition becomes an invitation into a kind of suspended state. More Info below.
