Dear Educators, School Leaders, and Community Partners, We warmly invite you to Breakfast with the Green Light District, hosted by El Puente, on: 📅 Friday, May 9, 2025 🕘 9:00–11:00 AM 📍 El Puente Headquarters 211 South 4th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211 This special morning gathering is an opportunity for educators, school leaders, and community stakeholders to come together over breakfast, build meaningful connections, and learn about our Environmental Justice programing including an exciting, no-cost opportunity for NYC schools: Climate Adventures. 🌿 About Climate Adventures Climate Adventures is a dynamic, hands-on field trip program created by El Puente’s Green Light District in partnership with the Trust for Governors Island. Designed specially for students in Grades 3 through 8, this immersive experience transports young people to Governors Island, where learning comes alive through the lens of climate justice, environmental science, sustainability, creative expression, and youth leadership. Each trip is thoughtfully curated to support classroom learning while inspiring a deep connection to our planet.
