Melanated Pop-Up Shop X Island Fusion

The Melanated Pop-up shop is a free showcase of black owned businesses. There will be handful of startup black businesses coming out to meet & greet everyone. Queens native found her love for food at a young age working with her father at his restaurant for over 10 years. April 2018, Chef Latty completed the Jamaica Food Entrepreneurship program, which provided valuable tools she needed to take her passion to the next level. After acquiring a Food Protection Certificate from the NYC Dept. of Health, she launched Island Fusion. Her mission is to deliver wholesome meals made with a blend of Caribbean cuisines, quality ingredients and a tasteful presentation. Chef Latty will be a food vendor at the Melanated Pop-Up shop offering affordable plates of Carribean cuisine.
