Casting - Mouthtrap - Hamlet

Casting Meet and Greet! THE MOUTHTRAP is based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and focuses on the revelation of Horatio’s secret. Creator and composer claims it was hidden from the audience in the original play. This is the first time that Shakespeare’s masterwork is presented as a rock opera, with the scenario and lyrics based on the classic play, with original commentary. Open Casting for a lead role of the Rock Opera. Applicants must demonstrate a diverse range of singing skills & professional acting and music experience. Ophelia - Female, 18-25 Ophelia is the daughter of Polonius, and like her father, a dutiful member of the household; in love with Hamlet, but loyal first to her father and brother; driven to madness by the demands from all sides resulting in the death of her father; another pawn in Hamlet's plot. Actor must be able to sing. The Casting will take place at BAZA Studio - 34-36 West 32nd Street from 5:30-7:30.
