Donna Payton’s work explores the complex relationships among energies, structures, and connections. Working in both two and three dimensions, she produces multiple mixed-media projects simultaneously and organizes them by themes. The “Works on Paper” series explores theories of life energy through images of hearts, brains, pinwheels, and spirals, combined with stripes and dots. The pieces in the “Interconnected” series show connections with humanity, nature, universal energy, and the interconnectedness of all beings and everything. Recent highlights from her extensive exhibition history include these museum shows: 2025 Vibrant Matter, Solo Exhibition, Monmouth Museum, Lincroft, NJ. 2024 Featured Artist, Contemporary Women Artists Exhibition, Peto Museum, Island Heights, NJ. She earned an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA, and a BFA from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. More Info below.
