First Friday January 2026: The Year Ahead

Friday, January 9 • 6:00 – 8:00 PM • At The Bronx Museum • For All Ages • Free! On the first Friday of the month, The Bronx Museum throws a free after-hours party that is fun for all ages! Since the first Friday of January 2026 coincides with the New Year, we are hosting the event the following week on January 9th. All are invited to come and enjoy music spun by DJ Curly Nez, collage vision boards for their New Year’s intentions, and check out the powerful sculptures on view in Ministry: Reverend Joyce McDonald—which art critic Jerry Saltz named as his number one exhibition of 2025 in New York Magazine! Plus, the Museum ensures that everyone stays refreshed with complimentary light bites and beverages. *Groups of any size organized privately and through a school, community center, or other entity must register through our Group Tours form at least one week in advance of their visit.
