Take 5 Oil Change Opens First Philadelphia Shop With ‘Oil For Oil’ Charity Event

Take 5 Oil Change, a leading provider of fast, friendly, and simple car maintenance, is celebrating a major milestone for the brand with the grand opening of its newest franchise location — and its first-ever shop within the city of Philadelphia — at 2250 Cottman Ave. To mark this significant expansion, Take 5 Oil Change will host an “Oil for Oil” charitable event on Tuesday, Dec. 9, inviting community members to donate a sealed bottle of cooking oil, one of the most requested items at local food banks, to benefit Philabundance, a food bank serving southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Guests who donate will save 50% on their oil change, and the Take 5 Oil Change Foundation will contribute an additional $5,000 to support Philabundance’s mission to fight hunger.
