The Department of Arts and Entertainment Technologies and dadageek [hidden] Vigroux — ATOTAL Join us for an immersive audiovisual concert experience featuring internationally acclaimed composer and multidisciplinary artist Franck Vigroux. Hosted on campus at UT Austin, this special performance brings ATOTAL to our community for one night only. ATOTAL explores the concept of the “total work of art” pushed to its extreme, where the absolute synchronization of sound, image, and perception blurs the boundary between immersion and control. Drawing from the visual and psychological strategies of totalitarian systems, the work investigates how repetition, semantic overload, and subliminal cues can shape, distort, or suppress critical thought.
