The Traveler Speaks Come join us at the Adams Street Branch of the Boston Public Library for an unforgettable artistic performance. "The Traveler" explores our connection to our roots, the power of ancestral wisdom, and the universal journey of becoming. A live band will provide a musical soundscape that fuses rhythms from African and Caribbean cultures with funk, blues, and bebop. Through music, film, and theater, Chibuzo Dunun will tell his story and the stories of those he has encountered along his journey. The live band will feature: Akili Jamal Haynes aka Chibuzo Dunun, Stan Strickland, Joh Camara, Jesse Taitt, Ron Mahdi, and Yoron Israel. The schedule is as follows: 2:00 to 2:30 PM: Doors open and pre-show social 2:30 to 3:45 PM: Performance that includes a live band and film. 3:45 to 4:00 PM: Q&A This performance is a family-friendly event where caregivers are required to supervise children throughout its duration.
