DOORS 6PM | SHOW 7PM Join us for ITP's 24th annual New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME) show! Performers will play a series of newly invented instruments that reimagine the creation and performance of music. New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME) is a graduate course at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) following the spirit of the NIME conference. This year’s show features 14 unique musical instruments and experimental performances that expand on new and existing forms –analog, digital, algorithmic, web, text, physical, spiritual, textile, tactile, collaborative, visible, and invisible– to breathe new life into the live performance of digital music. Tickets are free! Please also consider donating the cost of a ticket (or more) to ITP’s Red Burns Scholarship fund and help support a student while they study at ITP.
