Chicago City Builders Book Club: Holiday Party Edition The Chicago City Builders Book Club is where professional city builders gather to explore Chicago-centric books that unpack the city’s urban form, political history, and civic future. We usually meet every six weeks (or so) near the Loop for spirited conversation, local snacks, and shared curiosity about how cities work and how they change. But for December, we’re switching things up. Think less seminar, more holiday happy hour. Join us for our First Annual Holiday Happy Hour, a relaxed evening of arancini and conversation as we gather around The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. Bring your thoughts on the book (or just your favorite holiday cheer) and come toast with fellow city builders as we close out the year. *RSVP required for this one (please update if can no longer attend) to give the bar accurate numbers. * Hosts Lauren Mattern, Founder & TDM Lead, Journey, [hidden] Mike Ernst, Associate, Arup, [hidden] More Info below.
