From Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Tiffany Bailey is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Africana Studies Program. She received her BA in French and History as well as her MA in French & Applied Linguistics from the University of Alabama. In 2024, she graduated from Boston University with a PhD in French Language and Literature. She has taught beginning through advanced-level French courses and has studied in Tours and Avignon, France. Additionally, she has taught courses on French and African film. Her research interests include Black girlhood studies, Black feminist studies, Francophone studies, contemporary film and literature, and popular culture. More Info below.
