Movement in Harmony Presents The Americas : Shadows & Light An Interdisciplinary Performance of Music, Dance, and Technology Join us for an evening where movement, sound, and visuals merge into one immersive experience. Movement in Harmony brings together Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory students across music, dance, and technology to create a boundary-pushing performance. In this concert, dancers become more than performers. They actively shape the sonic and visual landscape in real time. Using innovative tools such as the MiMU Gloves, Leap Motion, LiDAR, Kinect Cameras and TouchDesigner, performers manipulate live vocals, lighting, and visuals as part of the choreography. Musicians and producers collaborate with dancers to present works that dissolve the line between performance and technology. This one-of-a-kind event highlights the creativity and innovation of Berklee and Boston Conservatory artists working together across disciplines. Expect the unexpected: live music, contemporary dance, interactive visuals, and a technologically sophisticated environment where art and technology move in harmony.
