Native American Heritage Month: Lenape Folktales
During Native American Heritage Month, explore the past and present experience of Native Americans. Join the Urban Park Rangers as they lead a walk around Snug Harbor to enjoy the beautiful landscape and learn about the Lenape’s traditional practice of oral storytelling. Rangers will share stories that come from the Lenape and discuss the lessons they can still teach us to this day. Feel free to bring and share traditional folktales from your heritage as well! The more we share, the more we learn and grow as a community. More Info below.
