Residual Surrealisms Residual Surrealisms is a group art show exhibiting five contemporary artists from Chicago exhibiting work of all kinds, including collage, sculpture, painting and drawing. Each artist, whether consciously or subconsciously, expands where Surrealism left off. Rather than a historical revisit of Surrealism, ResidualSurrealisms explores how Surrealist tendencies live on right here in Chicago, and in contemporary artistic practice - as an echo, a mood, a glitch, and an intuitive response.
