Through painting, mixed media, and installation, each artist investigates the shifting boundaries between people and environment, body and landscape, memory and transformation. Caren Helene Rudman blurs the lines between mind and body, exploring the body’s dual fragility and strength. Working in series that reflect a sense of time and space, she examines how energy moves through the body and becomes visible in the act of creation. Daniel Kim examines the relationship between human perception and natural form, often translating moments of observation into layered compositions that explore the tension between built and organic environments. Deborah Newmark reflects on the passages between physical, emotional, and ecological space. Her work captures the subtle points of transition where human presence intersects with the natural world, inviting viewers to consider movement, fragility, and renewal. Takako approaches nature through abstraction, drawing inspiration from elemental forces, meditative process, and material texture. Her work embodies a quiet dialogue between humanity and nature, suggesting harmony through gesture and form. Together, these artists engage in a shared conversation about what it means to be human within the greater ecosystem — exploring how we shape, and are shaped by, the living world around us.
