Happy Hour for Interim Leaders in the Social Sector Interim work is unique and takes a distinct strategic mindset to lead organizations through transition. Join a community of interim leaders for peer networking and support so we can build upon each other's success and strengthen our collective resources for Chicago's social sector. The event is open and free to the public but you must register to attend. Refreshments and appetizers will be provided. The event is taking place at the Intuit Art Museum; it's main entrance and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Hosted by Kristin Larsen and Julie Lenner. Parking & Directions at [hidden] There is no fee to enter the museum if you register. There will be time after our 5-7pm gathering for folks to check out the museum. IAM is open until 8pm on Thursday, August 21, it being the 3rd Thursday of the month- as listed on the IAM PLAN YOUR VISIT website page. See you there! - Our first peer community gathering was held in May. The room was filled with people new to the interim profession and others having served up to 10 interim roles! Collectively, the group represented over 45 interim experiences. We all agreed that interim leadership is essential as a strategy for sustainability and we look forward to continuing to elevate the positive impact of interim leadership for our nonprofit sector.
