The Future of Black Media Begins Here In December, at the 5th Annual Best of Black Dallas Awards, we announced the creation of the James A. Washington Foundation, a bold step to honor the legacy of our late publisher and strengthen the future of Black journalism. After seven months of strategic planning, we’re ready to make it official.
