Crochet Coral Club

Welcome to the Crochet Coral Club! OPAL invites the community to monthly meet-ups to create coral shaped forms out of crocheted plastic. The meetings are free to attend, just sign up so we know you are coming. No experience necessary. Come learn crochet! The meetings will be a time to share skills, learn techniques, meet other crochet enthusiasts and commune with fellow artists and help build something bigger, just like coral does. The goal of the project is to create numerous and varied coral forms and install them as a focal point in our July exhibit, SPIRALING, which is an eco-art themed show inviting artists to upcycle materials, particularly plastics. Mark your calendar for our monthly meet-upson 3rd Sundays 1-3pm. Feel free to work on your own design. Don't worry if you get stuck - our experienced members are always happy to help out.
