Cosplay As Protest – A Tiny Art Exhibition

Cosplay as Protest is a one-night-only art experience that challenges how you perceive pop culture, power, and identity. These pieces may be small—just 4”x4”—but the stories they tell are anything but. Through original photography and digital collage, this exhibit utilizes familiar characters to subvert the traditional narrative, questioning who holds power, who gets to be seen, and who gets to tell the story. The show features works that dive into gun violence, queer joy, police brutality, climate justice, feminist resistance, and political rebellion. Hosted by Hardy & Nance Studios and inspired by the legendary Texas Art Asylum’s Tiny Show, this event proves that small art can have a big impact. About the Artist Frederick Goodall is a Houston-based visual artist, writer, and cultural critic who uses photography and digital art to explore identity, power, and society. As the creator of Mocha Man Style and Mocha Man Productions, Frederick has always pushed to amplify underrepresented voices. More Info below.
