Standing Up For Our Future

Join U.S. House of Representatives Candidate for Illinois District 7, John McCombs, for a night of laughs at the campaign launch party and comedy show. The power of laughter can bring us all together and in the spirit of that unity the campaign is partnering with Housing Forward, an organization committed to ending homelessness, to provide resources for their shelters. The ‘price’ of entry to the comedy show/launch party is to show up with an item on Housing Forward’s Donation Wishlist. Simply come to the show with one of the items on their list and the campaign will drop off all the items afterwards. You can find the link here: [hidden] Come network, meet John, have a laugh, and help someone in need all in one! *Comedy show will last approximately 60-90 minutes* ** “Housing Forward is a non-profit organization working to end homelessness in west suburban Cook County. Ending homelessness means addressing it at all levels, from the possibility of a housing crisis to its permanent resolution. Our organization prevents homelessness whenever possible, responds to housing crises when they do occur, and stabilizes people with supportive services and housing. We believe safe and affordable housing is a basic human right and that individuals cannot achieve stability until they are housed first. We also know that homelessness is solvable when the right interventions, tailored services and sufficient housing resources are available. “ This event and any association between John McCombs or John4thepeople and Housing Forward is NOT an endorsement and should not be treated as such.
