Noel Coward's Hay Fever - Hilarious Free Theatre In The Park

Culver City will celebrate its 27th summer of free theatre in the park in 2025! Culver City Public Theatre will once again present two shows, the hilarious Noel Coward classic, “Hay Fever” and a beloved tale for kids of all ages, “The Wind in the Willows.” Both will run four weekends and are free to the public. Culver City Public Theatre's annual free outdoor productions have entertained audiences for many years. Best known for his supernatural comedy, “Blithe Spirit” and for countless classic songs, Noel Coward's “Hay Fever” is one of his funniest and often-produced plays. It follows a dysfunctional family of artists who can navigate the stage, the canvas and the written word fairly comfortably, but are hopeless at the business of real life. When all four have secretly invited guests for a long weekend at a summer house in the country, multiple romantic entanglements ensue. Jealousies, resentments and misunderstandings run rampant and soon the guests are plotting their escape from this house of hilarious horrors. The show is directed by longtime CCPT member Averi Quinn Yorek, who staged last summer's hit family musical, “Gideon and the Blundersnorp.” Danielle Fraser, another CCPT vet leads a cast that includes company president Trace Oakley and returning cast members Alicia Beach, Maxwell Downs, Phoenix Ever, Tamara Koltes, Steven Milner and Roderick Walker. Also starring is Jennifer Skiffington. More Info below.
