The Sensory Sensitive 4th of July Celebration is a free community event designed to reduce sensory overload while still delivering all the festive fun! 💙 What Makes This Event Special? We’ve reimagined the traditional 4th of July experience with thoughtful modifications for guests who benefit from a sensory-sensitive atmosphere:No Fireworks – replaced with a stunning Star Spangled Glow, a wearable LED light show Live Music – featuring Reputation, a Taylor Swift Tribute Band, with controlled sound levels Interactive Fun – balloon art, face painting, Creature Teacher animal encountersPet-Friendly – leashed furry friends are welcomeCalm Zone – a quiet indoor space at Town Hall for anyone needing a breakAutism-Trained Staff – restaurant teams and volunteers are prepared to create a supportive, respectful environment 🎉 Event Schedule 6:00 – 8:30 PM: Event opens– Bright Minds Interactive Area– Face Painting & Balloon Artist 6:00 – 7:00 PM: Special Entertainment at the Amphitheater (TBA)7:00 PM: Pet Parade 7:30 – 9:30 PM: Live concert – Reputation (Taylor Swift Tribute) 9:40 PM: Star Spangled Glow – LED Bracelet Light Show 👪 Preparing for the Event To support a positive experience, we encourage families to explore our "What to Expect" Story together beforehand.
