Lariosa - Filmmaker Kapwa translates to a sense of shared identity, the sense of “I see you-you see me.” Yet many Filipino-Americans often feel misunderstood within their communities and families. Searching for Kapwa: A Story of Identity, History, and Belonging, produced by Alchemy & Twine Productions, is a powerful documentary that follows the filmmaker’s quest to understand his ancestral roots and find his place in the arc of history.
