Join us at the Silver Lake Branch Library for a day filled with live music, and good vibes. Whether you're a music enthusiast or just looking for a fun time, this festival is perfect for all ages. Come and support our local artists. Don't miss out on this musical extravaganza! We'll have performances at two locations within the library with some performances overlapping. Review the schedule of performances below and plan your day! Schedule of Performances Location: At the Piano in the Main Library Area 9:45-10:30 umbrellyfish - Piano Jazz Standards and Original Songs 11:30-12:30 Kim Ward - Piano Standards and Showtunes 1:30-2:30 The Leslie Baker Band - 4 piece Jazz Band 3:30-5:00 Cello Centric - 12 world-premiere, cello-centric compositions by 12 living Southern Californian composers. Ensembles range from solo cello to string quintet. Other featured instruments include violin, viola, electric cello, bass viol, and hammered dulcimer. Location: Community Room off the Plaza Level Main Entrance 12:30-1:00 Steven Thachuk - Solo Classical Guitar 1:00-1:30 Xinqian Li - Solo Jazz Guitar 1:30-2:00 Pedro Bautista - Solo Classical Guitar 3:00-4:30 Temu Soundbath - Come play along or just listen to this melodic percussion jam / DIY music therapy experiment. Any quiet acoustic instrument that can make spacey, meditative sounds is welcome, especially hand pans, tongue drums, kalimbas or anything that rings or chimes. Come space out with us . . .
