Traditional Cypriot music and dance in the heart of Long Island City, with the majestic view of the Manhattan skyline.On June 17th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sounds of Cyprus will take the stage at the amphitheater area in Gantry Plaza State Park for a special outdoor performance celebrating the music and culture of Cyprus. There will be a 7:00 PM - 7:20 PM Q&A with the groups after the performance.This year, Sounds of Cyprus will be joined by the Greek-American Folklore Society, who will perform and lead the audience in learning traditional Cypriot dances—inviting everyone to take part in this interactive cultural experience.Sounds of Cyprus - come sing and dance with us!
