Please join cityLAB-UCLA, the City of Los Angeles, and LA4LA for an evening celebrating the innovative submissions to the Small Lots, Big Impacts Design Competition. With over 350 submissions from 36 countries, the competition proposals offer a groundbreaking repository of high-quality, buildable solutions—each one exploring how small, overlooked parcels of land can be transformed into meaningful, attainable homes for Angelenos. From compact infill housing to clustered courtyard developments, the submissions reflect a range of scales and typologies that reimagine how Los Angeles can make more of itself. The evening will feature an exhibition of jury-recognized submissions and remarks from the initiative organizers reflecting on the design work and next steps. Casual dinner will be provided, along with beverages for purchase at the bar. The event will be hosted at the AIA Los Angeles Center for Communities in West Adams, Los Angeles. Please RSVP on this Eventbrite page by Thursday, June 12, 2025. While tickets to the event are free of charge, capacity is limited, so we ask that you please register. More Info below.
