The Official Grand Marshal Reception is a cornerstone event of the 47th Annual Houston LGBT+ Pride Celebration® Festival and Parade. Each year, our esteemed Grand Marshals perform ceremonial duties, lead the Parade, and serve as Pride ambassadors for the Summer, advancing the causes they hold dear on our global platform. This reception is dedicated to honoring these remarkable individuals. Being named a Grand Marshal of the Houston Pride LGBT+ Celebration® is among the highest honors bestowed by Houston's LGBTQIA+ community, recognizing individuals and organizations who have made significant achievements for LGBTQIA+ rights and considerable contributions to the community at large.
