Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month with NYC Parks. Natural areas such as city parks have long been a space for marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ community, to meet safely. Walk through the Pat Dolan Trail along the bottom edge of Willow Lake to learn more about LGBTQ+ history, and the first pro-LGBT demonstration in Queens one week before the famous Stonewall Riots.
