Join Amanda Williams and Olalekan Jeyifous for an artist talk and a community party to celebrate their new public art installation, Resilient Hues. Resilient Hues is inspired by colorful paint chips and wallpaper remnants found here at the Jane Addams Homes. The internationally recognized artists turned these found traces of former residents’ style into an iconic entrance for the National Public Housing Museum, and a reminder of the creativity, beauty, and strength of the public housing residents who once called this building home. After the talk, enjoy a picnic with music and dance to celebrate the resilience of public housing residents. More Info below.
