Sugar & Sparkle Beach Day

Kick off Pride Month with sugar, sparkle, and community! Join us for a Sugar & Sparkle Beach Day, a playful potluck-style dessert gathering hosted by Alex (IG: @the_bareback_contessa_) and Peter (IG: @greatbearcoach). We’re inviting our community to come together by the water to share sweet treats, make new connections, and bask in queer joy. Bring a dessert to share—homemade or store-bought, no pressure—and a blanket or chair to get cozy by the lake. Expect:🍰 Cookies, cakes, bars, and bonus snacks🌈 A fabulous mix of queers and queer friendlies💬 Chill vibes and low-pressure mingling🌊 Sparkling views, laughter, and sugar highs This is a true potluck, so bring something sweet if you can (or just bring your sweet self—we’ll have extra goodies on hand). All LGBTQ+ folks and their friends are welcome. Come as you are. Stay as long as you’d like. Let’s launch Pride Month in community, with sugar and sparkle to spare. When you arrive at the beach, look for the rainbow baloons to find us. About Your Hosts Peter Godard (he/him, IG: @greatbearcoach) is an Andersonville-based coach who helps queer folx connect to joy & community so they can craft beautiful 'next acts'. He grew up on an island (hence his love of the beach) and his favorite desert is apple pie. Alex Hinand (he/they, IG: @the_bareback_contessa_) is a Ravenswood-based interior decorator and event planner who helps people fill their homes with people and things that they love. He has Southern roots (and the cowboy hat tattoo to prove it) and his favorite desert is chocolate mousse. More Info below.
