She found that she loved the science of it. When something didn’t turn out, Lisa was eager to think about what went wrong and how she could alter my ingredients or technique to have a better outcome the next time. It’s been nearly 20 years of experimenting in her home kitchen, and in 2024 LMM Baking Co. was born to create bakes for others and their special occasions. In a place like New York City, it’s hard to have a true differentiator. There are so many talented bakers and bakeries. Lisa's secret sauce is…working with her! No one has Lisa's brain, style or creativity, making what she whips up one-of-one, especially for you. Lisa's favorite parts of the process are the bookends: collaborating with customers on flavor combinations and creative inspiration and watching as the ideas are brought to life in the decoration stage.
