2025 CEAL Spring Symposium: Speaker Series Day 2 of the CEAL Spring Symposium will kick off with a resource fair, where organizations will share valuable information with the community. Keynote speaker Sarah Steenhausen, Deputy Director of Policy, Research, and Equity at the California Department of Aging, will share expertise on the policies and research shaping aging in California. Following the keynote, there will be two panels focused on leveraging social capital for improved quality of life and advancing technology for better care. These discussions will provide valuable insights and actionable strategies for creating a more supportive environment for older adults. The day will conclude with remarks from SDSU Dean of Health and Human Services, Dr. Amy Bonomi, on the intersection of policy, research, and community health and the critical role that academic institutions play in advancing these important conversations.
