We’re honored to exhibit paintings by Vicky Barranguet in our newest installment of Arlo’s Living Room Gallery series at Arlo Midtown NYC. Join us on Wednesday, May 7, from 7 to 9pm to kick-off New York art week with a new art installation, music and drink specials. About the Artist Vicky Barranguet is a New York-based artist known for her dynamic and vibrant abstract paintings. Since relocating to New York in 1997, Barranguet has developed a distinctive style within the field of abstract expressionism, characterized by intense color, gestural energy, and a deep connection to music, particularly jazz. Her work embodies a fusion of spontaneous gestures and structured systems, reflecting her unique approach to improvisation and pictorial investigation. About the Event The Arlo’s Living Room Gallery series was created and curated by Jasmine Arakel with the mission to bring contemporary art into publicly accessible spaces at Arlo Hotels. In partnership with Artemisa Gallery and for a limited time, we’re thrilled to exhibit these paintings by Vicky Barranguet. Both the artist and gallerist will be in attendance for the evening.
