Letters to Loved Ones: A Mother’s Day Gathering for Grievers Mother’s Day can be a complex and tender time for those of us who have lost a parent. This year, Empower—an organization supporting youth through grief with mentorship and community—is partnering with NeuroWorks, a therapy practice committed to serving vulnerable communities, to co-create a space of reflection, healing, and connection. We're hosting a casual, intimate gathering for adults who have experienced parent loss and are seeking community and conversation. Together, we’ll share stories, write letters to our loved ones, journal through our memories, and explore mindful ways to move with grief. There will be small bites, grounding practices, and opportunities to connect with others who understand the quiet weight of this kind of loss. We are hoping to provide some small bites and a flower bar where we can all take some time to make a lovely bouquet. Come as you are. Whether your grief is new or decades old, you are welcome here.
