Roundhouse Aquarium Presents “Talking Trash: Ways We Are Ridding Santa Monica Bay’S Beaches Of Trash”

Plastic pollution in our oceans is reaching critical levels, endangering the livelihood of our marine life. Join the Roundhouse Aquarium, in partnership with the LA County Library and presented by the RHA, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, for a free, family-friendly event to learn how you can make a difference! Marine biologist Dr, John Dorsey, an expert in ocean clean-up efforts, will lead an engaging presentation on the devastating impact of ocean trash and what’s being done to combat it. He’ll share stories from his work with The Ocean Cleanup nonprofit and offer simple, actionable tips to help protect marine life and reduce pollution. The Roundhouse Aquarium, a leader in ocean conservation, has already removed over 75 pounds of plastic debris in 2024 and is inspiring change through initiatives like its Dolphin Project. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, ask questions, and take part in preserving our oceans for future generations. Let’s turn the tide on ocean pollution – together! More Info below.
