Celebrate collaboration and artist-led engagement. The latest Moody Project Wall is the result of several workshops, led by Ruhee Maknojia, where Rice students helped create a large-scale wall painting while learning about the power of story-telling in the visual arts. About the Series: Launched in 2021 with the goal of fostering cross-campus and community engagement with the arts, the Moody Project Wall is a collaborative effort between a Houston-based artist and Rice University students. About the Artist: Ruhee Maknojia is a painter, animator, and installation artist from Houston. Her artistic practice uses patterns inspired by historical textile traditions as a tool for myth-making, exploring centuries of stories drawn from philosophy, history, and literature that she reconsiders through a contemporary lens.
