Pilsen Food Pantry Volunteer Event

***THIS EVENT IS AT THE NEW PANTRY LOCATION: 2124 S ASHLAND AVE*** You only need to register on this meetup event, CCL will handle communications with the pantry. CCL Chicago will be volunteering as a group at the Pilsen Food Pantry's weekly Sunday prep session on March 31st. From the pantry: “ Upon arrival, you can check in with our Sunday Volunteer Lead, Timur, and they can help lead on what task to do. Please enter through the side entrance on 21st Place via the adjacent ramp. Feel free to knock on the door if it is closed or call the pantry at [hidden]. “ Further Information about Pilsen Food Pantry The Pilsen Food Pantry aims to improve health and social outcomes through the distribution of fresh, culturally-appropriate foods, via sponsorship of community events, and by organizing seasonal clothing and supply drives. Typical group volunteer tasks include pantry prep/food box assembly, clothes closet organization, or special projects (gardening, bike repairs, cleaning, painting, organizing, others based on skills of the group).
