Javelina Hike And Refuel

On this weekly hike on Javelina Trail at South Mountain we will start out as a group at the trail head, hike up for awhile and then turn around so we can stay ahead of the setting sun. Javelina is a 3.8 mile out and back described as moderately challenging (it's got some climb to it but doesn't have the incline of some of the steeper peaks in Phoenix.) All paces are welcome on these hikes so we will usually split off into different groups based on pace and I always stay with the last group so no one is ever alone (unless they choose to be.) After the hike some members will regroup at Fate Brewery on Southern and Mill for food or drinks since the different pace groups make it difficult to chat with everyone in our hiking crew 😊 More Info below.
