About: Feestet (pronounced “Feest-tet”) is a Madison-based “gateway jazz” ensemble fronted by vocalist Helen Feest. For the Golden Hour, Feestet will perform as a trio featuring Chicago’s own Frank McKearn IV on the Electronic Valve Instrument. A 1970’s analog synthesizer with 7 octaves range, the EVI perfectly showcases both Frank’s trumpet chops and bass experience. They are joined by the project’s primary composer/arranger, Anthony Utehs, on guitar. More Info below.
