Just an FYI VU Crew, this event is the day before Mother's Day! [hidden] Are you ready to make a difference in our community? As a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of Mt. Airy Day! Before the event kicks off at 12PM, our team will be actively involved in setting up, registering vendors and volunteers until 1PM. Our group will be divided between the traffic, setup, greeters, and courtesy suite. Some may be asked to be floaters (fill in where needed.) All VU volunteers will be within the two blocks of Germantown Avenue and on Sedgwick St. Parking details: We encourage public transportation for this event! Street parking is first come first served. We prefer volunteers to park on Chew Avenue between Mt. Pleasant Avenue and E. Sedgwick St. Public Transportation: Germantown Avenue is accessible by the 23 and H bus routes, and the Chestnut Hill East and West Regional Lines.
