Featuring Todd Kessler Calling Todd Kessler a singer/songwriter simply wouldn’t do him justice. The rising folk-rock star is the consummate storyteller, with a remarkable ability to take listeners on a winding, wonderful, and introspective journey through the depths of the human experience. Drawing on the influences of Paul Simon, Glen Hansard and David Gray, Todd Kessler’s music is lyrically driven and grounded in the tradition of the acoustic folk troubadour. Jeanie Bratschie Jeanie B has been writing & performing original music since she was 15. At the age of 42 when her kids were young she focused her indie rock / country / folk style towards family music and has made a name for herself with her band Jeanie B! & the Jelly Beans - which now frequently include her sons on drums & bass. She plays all over the country for families and more locally for adults, has recorded 7 albums of music for families and 3 for adults with another on the way for both hopefully to be released this year. Mathew Pittman Matthew Pittman is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the outskirts of Chicago. Though an Americana artist at his core, he weaves rich and lush landscapes with an uncanny knack for hooks that owes as much to classical chamber music as it does pop songwriting. Pierce Crask Chicago-based singer-songwriter Pierce Crask, drawing from influences such as Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, John Prine, Bob Dylan, Greg Brown, and Chris Smither, has been entertaining audiences professionally as a solo performer since 1999. Pierce's folky blues fingerstyle is what critics have called “Dirty Blues guitarist with midwestern sensibilities.” Brandon Reisdorf Brandon is a Carpentersville, IL-based songwriter, violinist, and guitar player. He fronts the Brandon Reisdorf Quartet, playing original tunes and frequently collaborates with several Chicago-area bands playing violin/fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and singing. After being introduced to the violin in ’99 and the guitar a year later, his dedication to music led to degrees in Music Theory, Composition, and Philosophy in college. He explored a wide range of musical styles and eventually found himself attracted to writing songs in the folk and Americana traditions. Brandon was inspired by legends like John Prine and Kris Kristofferson, resulting in his debut album, “Political Songs for Political People,” released during the 2020 election season. Since then, he has been actively recording and preparing for his next album, slated for a 2024 release. More Info below.
