Ksa Belonging In Kendall Film Series: History Of Race In Boston

Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm MIT Welcome Center Join the KSA and former Boston City Councillor Tito Jackson at the MIT Welcome Center for a screening of this film, a conversation, and refreshments as we take a close look at the history of race relations in Boston in the 1980s. The first in a series, this film explores the complex history of race-based hostilities in Boston against the backdrop of the 1989 case of Charles Stuart, whose frantic 911 call reporting that he and his wife -- a white couple -- had been shot by a Black man, ignited a firestorm. The Belonging in Kendall Film Series is sponsored by Ipsen and Draper Labs. More Info below.
