La Made: El Cine + Ghetto Film School - The Ballad Of Gregorio Cortez

The Los Angeles Public Library, in partnership with El Cine and Ghetto Film School, is excited to announce a Cinco de Mayo celebration honoring Mexican heritage. Join us for a screening of The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez and short films by Ghetto Film School students, showcasing the diverse cultural tapestry of Los Angeles. After the screening, stay for a Q&A session with film producer and community activist Moctesuma Esparza. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate and engage with our vibrant community! Reservations are not required but highly encouraged. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. This LA Made program was made possible with the generous support of the National Endowment for the Humanities. More Info below.
