Kuluntu Bakery is a nonprofit bakery that co-creates a more equitable food system and community by connecting the food industry, consumers and partners to center women and humanize all food workers. In the food and hospitality industry, demands are high and stress is often constant. Prioritizing mental and physical health and wellness is crucial, particularly for women-identifying and nonbinary people. And yet, within this industry, we rarely see wellness prioritized especially for these communities. Through Kuluntu Bakery’s community centric program development process in which we interviewed women food workers and industry participants, this gap in services and resources was identified. In response, Kuluntu is collaborating with local wellness providers to create a safe and communal, wellness-focused space specifically for women-identifying and nonbinary food workers. This event is no-cost. Space is limited so please RSVP and let us know if you are no longer able to attend. We're looking forward to sharing this space with you! More Info below.
