Cozy up and get ready to sing - Dorothy's monthly queer karaoke night THE LIVING ROOM aims to create an environment that makes you feel as comfortable as you do in your own home! Hosted by Dorothy's own E. Leverton, join us the final Monday of every month for FREE karaoke! Cozy karaoke requires 35% vulnerability and 65% unbridled joy. Aloofness is not allowed, but getting to know someone new on the couch next to you definitely is. Living rooms are intimate spaces where you (we hope) feel the most YOU. When it comes to karaoke in a living room: try the song you’ve never done before, wear the cowboy hat, and, if you want, dedicate your selections to your crush across the room. Switching gendered lyrics to be more gay? *Highly encouraged.* Doors are at 6pm and singing kicks off at 6:30pm! Arrive early to sign up and secure the best and coziest seating in the house. Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the double doors on Campbell Ave and call [hidden] for our staff to assist. This event is mask suggested. All guests are encouraged to test before they attend the event. ABOUT YOUR HOST If you know Dorothy, you know that E has been with us since the beginning! Not only does she like to groove while making drinks behind the bar, she also likes to get behind the mic from time to time for karaoke! She’s excited to get another chance to be your host and spice up your Monday evening with your favorite go-to tunes! Photo by Tracy Conoboy More Info below.
