Speed Walkntalk High Line & Little Island Edition

This has nothing to do with a fast pace walk, but rather imitates speed dating, but then again also not 🤔 In a time of online dating and speed dating we now have apps for online friendshiping. I was very surprised to hear that they exist but then again not at all. It is not easy to make connections especially when you switched locations, got divorced, just not getting out enough, are super busy with work, and all of that. The goal isn’t necessarily to find a date (but could be) but to make connections and socialize. FIND A DATE OR FIND A FRIEND Every last Wednesday of the month we will do a roughly 60-minute walk in different parks and areas. We will form 2 person rows, no matter the sex or preference. Every 3 minutes I wil blow a whistle ( or shout SWITCH if it’s a small group) and we will move to the next person. The goal is to get to talk to everyone for a bit. If it’s a small group we will go through twice and then do free flow for the remaining time. We will switch positions in a “Z” pattern: The person on the left will move to the right. The person on the right will move down and left. The person on the right and the end will move all the way to the front and left. After the walk there is the option to go for drinks (and a bite to eat) and really connect to the person that you had the best time with. Rain/bad weather will cancel this event. If I got nothing planned I will reschedule for Wednesday after.
