Picnic In The Park Earth Day Celebration At Evelyn's Park Conservancy

Head to Picnic In The Park on Saturday, April 20 from 12-4 p.m. to celebrate Earth Day and Evelyn’s Park's 7th Year Anniversary. There will be a free 5,000 seedling giveaway donated by Trees For Houston. CenterPoint Energy foresters will be on hand to let you know where to safely plant them at your home. The City of Bellaire Arts Board will be hosting a community rock painting project. Finished rocks will be included in a temporary art installation by Betsy’s at Evelyn’s Park. The City of Bellaire Environmental Sustainability Board will be hosting their famous Crush the Can and provide everyone with recycling education. The Houston Mayor’s Youth Council-Environmental Justice Committee will be hosting build-your-own water bottle terrariums. Enjoy 8-Track band live at the Gillman Subaru Southwest Entertainment Zone, scavenger hunts at our Alice and Wonderland 'Move One Place On' Sculpture, face painting, vendors including Los Tios, and our 7 year birthday cake cutting at 3 p.m. More Info below.
