(Check calendar for upcoming performances). About: Born into a musical family, Jackson got his start playing in church at a young age in his hometown of St. Paul, MN. Moving to Chicago in 2011, Jackson has found a new home in the local music scene- performing/recording frequently, and touring internationally as a bassist. In the wake of 2020 Jackson was able to emerge as a songwriter and singer in his own right. Major influences (and common covers) include Billie Holiday, Stevie Wonder, Chet Baker, and Carole King.
